 Please join our growing team of Penguin Foundation members and help advance our efforts to protect and save the Little Penguins of Phillip Island. The Penguin Foundation depends on membership contributions from individuals like you.
When you join with The Penguin Foundation you become an important member of a unique group dedicated to the survival and conservation of Phillip Island’s unique fauna and flora for future generations. We simply cannot do it without your support, so please become a member and consider ‘Adopting a Penguin’ of your own.
International Adoptions are more than welcome - there is a small postage fee for international adoptions.

Note: All individual Membership donations are for 12 months and are fully tax-deductible. If you would like to make more than one adoption, please do not use the same email address for those additional adoptions. If in doubt or additional adoptions do not have an email address, leave blank.

Penguin Foundation Membership (AUD$25)

For just $25 per year you will be an official member of the Penguin Foundation and acknowledged as a true supporter of the work being performed to help the Little Penguin colony. By signing up to be a member you will receive regular electronic updates on what Phillip Island’s Little Penguins are up to – and keep up to date with Penguin Foundation projects which are helping to preserve and protect the Little Penguins.
You will also receive a voucher entitling you to 10% off all Phillip Island Nature Park admission.
Memberships are for 12 months and are fully tax deductible.

Adopt a Penguin (AUD$75) International Postage Applies - $5
|

The most rewarding way to support the Penguin Foundation is to ‘Adopt a Penguin’ of your own or give one to a close friend or relative. You will be connecting with the heart of the Foundations work and be able to follow the progress of your adopted penguin and that of the Penguin Foundation’s many projects.
For $75 you will receive the following rewards:
- automatic membership of the Penguin Foundation
- a thank you letter from the Penguin Foundation
- an adoption certificate
- one personalised thank you card with a photo of your penguin
- our regular newsletter updating you on the progress of the penguin colony and Penguin Foundation projects
- a Little Penguin fact sheet
- a Free Penguin Parade entry voucher for an adult or child
- An exclusive invitation to our Penguin Foundation Members’ Open Day where you and a guest can take a special behind-the-scenes tour of the world famous Penguin Parade at Phillip Island and meet our Park Ranger staff and marine biologists.
To ‘Adopt a penguin’ is to undertake a wonderfully giving gesture, either for yourself or as a gift to a friend or family member.
How the money is used:
Please note for $75 we can build and establish a Little Penguin nesting box that will enhance the safety of a ‘penguin couple’ and improve their long term chances of successfully breeding.

Penguin Pal (AUD$50) International Postage Applies - $10
|

A fantastic gift for a child is a Penguin Pal membership. Ideal for kids under 12, Penguin Pals receive fun information as well as providing a lasting legacy to the Penguin Foundation. To provide a Penguin Pal membership for a child is a special way to introduce and educate our younger generation to the world of nature.
For a donation of $50, Penguin Pal members will receive:
- a thank you letter from their own Little Penguin
- an adoption certificate
- a penguin toy
- a ‘birthday’ card from their adopted penguin
- our regular newsletter updating you on the progress of the penguin colony and Penguin Foundation projects
- a Little Penguin fact sheet
- a Free Penguin Parade entry voucher for one child or adult
- An exclusive invitation to our Penguin Pals Open Day where the Penguin Pal (and parents) can take a special behind-the-scenes tour of the world famous Penguin Parade at Phillip Island and meet our Park Ranger staff and marine biologists.
How the money is used:
Please note for $50 the Penguin Foundation can keep a Little Penguin in the Animal Hospital for a day and provide food, medication and rehabilitation services. Or it can buy two tracking devices (‘P-tags’) to help our team study their movements.
As you can see, every little bit helps to improve the overall health of the world famous penguin colony of Phillip Island.
